THE_MUTE_THAT SIGNED_"WOLThe Mute that Signed Wolf ~a fractured fairy tale~ Written by: Joelle A. Steinke Mike was the strangest kid in my class. I’ve never heard him speak a word. Ever. Although, there are a few people that claim to have heard him mumble things under his breath every now and then; and there are others that say that he did talk in the third grade for a bout a week. But I wouldn’t know, I moved here in the sixth grade. “Mute Mike,” is what we call him. I have never known him or addressed him as anything else. Even some of the teachers have been rumored to refer to him as “Mute Mike” whileTHE_MUTE_THAT SIGNED_"WOL

His black clothes seemed empty like midnight Always adorned with a golden cross That hung around his neck and dangled like bait for a fish His white collar seemed to call peace and tranquility
Always so articulate with his words Always so gentle with his actions Always so perfect under god
He used to take my hand
sweet sauce.
